Este proyecto es un ejercicio que emula la lógica de los certificados de inexistencia arqueológica, documentos emitidos para autorizar construcciones sobre un terreno tras constatar que no existe allí nada que deba ser preservado ni recordado. Utilizando esa misma mecánica, el proyecto se propone abordar los asesinatos de 59 personas durante el gobierno de Dina Boluarte.

Desde una perspectiva crítica, se interpela la racionalidad ciudadana que legitima su moral mediante la "producción de muertos", es decir, a través del conteo y exposición de cuerpos caídos. La obra parte de una frase de Leonor Silvestri: “Quien vive de contar muertas, no te quiere viva”, cuestionando una subjetividad ciudadana que sostiene su lucha en abstracciones con escaso impacto colectivo.

Los certificados que componen este proyecto contienen los nombres de las víctimas y apuntan directamente a la responsabilidad de quienes los reciben, evidenciando su inacción frente a la violencia sistemática contra las revueltas populares.

This project is an exercise that emulates the logic of archaeological certificates of nonexistence—documents issued to authorize construction on a piece of land once it has been confirmed that there is nothing beneath it that must be preserved or remembered. Applying this same mechanism, the project addresses the murder of 59 people during the government of Dina Boluarte.

From a critical perspective, it interrogates the civic rationale that legitimizes its moral standing through the "production of the dead"—that is, through the counting and display of fallen bodies. The work is grounded in a phrase by Leonor Silvestri: “Those who live by counting the dead are the ones who don’t want you alive”, which challenges a civic subjectivity that bases its social struggle on abstract categories with little collective impact.

The certificates that make up this project list the names of the dead and directly expose the responsibility of those who receive them, highlighting their inaction in the face of excessive violence against popular uprisings.
